Looking for a refreshing and energizing breakfast on the go idea? Well look no further you have come to the right place. Ask any of my friends and they will gladly tell you I am a huge fan of smoothies. Not only are they easy to make but they are filling and my secret ingredient (chia seeds) make it a great source of energy. The addition of whey protein makes it a great smoothie to have pre or post workout.
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 cup frozen Banana
250g vanilla yoghurt
100 ml milk
2tsp chia seeds
1 tsp of whey protein (optional)
Combine all the ingredients together and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
