Renewing your mind: unlearning things that hold you back

It is my belief that an intentional life is a series of learning and unlearning of destructive behaviours. What no one tells you is how hard it is. This is due to the fact that you really need to introspect and ask yourself some hard questions, learn new patterns of behaviour and make the change. It also means that you need to be ok with the fact that habits are hard to break and you might fall back to your old ways. Sometimes our bad habits are our crutch and we don’t really want to let them go.

On this inspire Monday, I want to encourage you dear reader that if you want to master this thing called life begin with YOU. Assess some of the things that are holding you back.Listen to some of the thoughts that you let roam freely in your mind unchecked. What are some the things you are saying you can’t change that “it’s just who you are ? “Is it your temper? Do you believe you are born to struggle? Whatever it is, find the root cause and pull it out. So you can live the life you deserve.
