It’s our Birthday

Let me just say you guys are lucky there are no cameras at my place because every bone of mine that has been blessed with no rhythm has been doing its worst. I have been playing my all-time favourite songs to dance to All day long! It’s our fourth birthday and to say I am excited is an understatement. I cannot believe I have made it this far and that thanks to the pandemic I haven’t really celebrated the last two birthdays. A fact I am rectifying. From here onwards each mile stone will be celebrated. If the pandemic has taught us anything is that life is too short.

Lessons on time

I am currently in a space where I can focus more on my writing. Let me tell you we may all have the same twenty four hours but we do not have the same time. In this space I am able to explore different styles of writing. One such style is a more serious form of writing. So from time to time I freelance for a newspaper and this has really helped hone my skill and challenge me. I have also been able to finally start an Instagram page for the blog and I’m exploring other creative avenues. Basically give yourself time and approach life as a jungle gym not a ladder.
